Doll Making Class For Adults, Every Friday, 5 PM

Please, indicate the date you are interested in when booking. 

During this class, each participant will create a doll! Each doll created will be one-of-a-kind as it will be made from a unique set of parts and materials. You get to choose the hair color of your doll, some fabrics and embellishments.  All material will be pre-selected and provided prior to the beginning of the class. You choose whether to make your doll resemble a loved one, a friend or even yourself!

Age: 21+

Class Length: 3 hours

Pricing: $150 (all materials are included)

Class Size: We can accommodate up to 10 participants. Because spaces are limited, reservations are required. 

A complementary glass of wine and appetizers for adult participants! (21+)

LESSON PLAN:

Theory: At the beginning of the class, the participants will be introduced to the project, shown a sample of the final piece, familiarized with tools (if any) and explained the techniques to be used. 

Creative Part: During the next three hours, under the expert guidance of our instructors, the participants will work on the project. Our artists will be ready to help if the participants need any assistance with any step of the way.

Stages for creating a doll:

• filling the body and details with polyester filling
• attaching the head, arms, and legs to the body
• dressing up the doll
• sewing small accessories to a doll
• attaching hair
• sewing on a hat

All materials are provided and included in the price above. 

Each set includes:

• stitched parts of the doll's body
• polyester filling for stuffing doll body parts
• fully tailored wardrobe of clothes and shoes
• hair color of your choice (natural, high quality wool)
• accessories for decorating dolls
• soft toy for a doll
• necessary tools 

Cancelations: Stuff happens. We know. But we ask for at least a 36-hour notice if you need to cancel your reservation. Otherwise, you agree to forfeit your deposit. Please let us know if the circumstances are beyond your control and we will do our best to find a solution.

Covid-19 Precautions: Our staff will sanitize all art materials and tools before and after each class. Hand sanitizer and washing hands will also be encouraged for participants before starting working on the project.
