To create products from paper vine, clean printing paper is used, which is cut into strips of a certain size. Each strip is manually rolled into a tube. One 18 inch long cradle will require 500 tubes.
After creating the vine, it is painted in the color we need.
For painting it in natural color, stain is used. For painting in white color, white paint is used. All of the materials are water-based, safe and odorless.
After drying is completed, the painted vine is treated with aqua-glaze, dried once again and ready for weaving.
The process of weaving the 18 inch cradle takes about 5 hours. After the product is woven, it is primed with a varnish and water composition, and gets dried once again. At the end, for strength and moisture resistance, it is coated with a water-based acrylic varnish.
